business, we mean the whole family. The front office is
staffed by Mike’s mother, Luz and Angela’s father, Bud. Not
to mention Angela’s mother, Alcie who is home watching the
Murua’s six year old daughter Alexis while the rest of the
family is at the office workingThis office is a relaxed
atmosphere where Spanish and English are spoken fluently.
Mike was born and raised in San Jose, CA where he met his
wife in 1998. When they married in 2001 they decided to
move back to the Pacific Northwest. When arriving in
Spokane, Mike decided that he was going to pursue one of
his dreams and open a tax office. He had prepared taxes for
friends and family for years and decided that this is what he
wanted to do for a living. Although the first few years were
definitely a challenge, the rewards have been great. TAX IT
EZ has been thriving as a small business now for 9 years
and is looking forward to many years of service to come.
Their goal when opening TAX IT EZ was to provide affordable
tax preparation services to fellow community members. They
pride themselves in customer service, working with each one
of their clients as individuals helping them with their personal
tax needs. TAX IT EZ also specializes in assisting resident
aliens apply for the appropriate Taxpayer Identification
Numbers to allow them to comply with US tax regulations
and to file their taxes with all the available tax credits that they
are eligible for. This can be a tricky area of taxes and one
that Mike has been very diligent about assisting his clients
with.
They were honored with the Best Tax Preparers Award by
Spokane Business Catalyst Magazine in 2006. They are
members of the National Association of Tax Professionals
and are members of the Better Business Bureau. Angela &
Mike are also Notary Publics.
